    wall(steal)mart

There are serious disruptions to the food supply chain. Dairy farmers dumping milk, meat plant closings, plowing ripe tomatoes back into the soil. There are going to be prince increases and shortages. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    traveling for food

For anyone traveling east-west through Texas on I-10. In Junction, there are two bbq places, Coopers and Lums. They say Lums is better, so I went there. Fabulous bbq, lots of sides. A must when traveling through Texas Hill Country. Junction is about 110 miles west of San Antonio. Sent from my...

    I can't take it anymore!

This hogwash is a new virus, one we’ve never seen before. It’s lots more contagious and deadly than the flu, there is no vaccine, drug treatment, or cure. It also spreads exponentially. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    WOMEN ONLY: Guns?

A big question to ask yourself, if you are thinking of having a gun, is proper mindset. If my life is being threatened , do I have the mindset to take out that attacker before he takes out me? This is the first question to ask yourself. When most think, “it will be taken away from me and used...

    Butane stove and cold weather

I have a stove fetish. I had Coleman two burner propane stoves, single burner propane stove, isobutane canister stoves, integrated canister stoves, and liquid fuel stoves. I just bought a MSR Whisperlite. I got real tired of tracking down isobutane cartridges. The Whisperlite can burn kerosene...

    Pee bucket

For urine, just use a plastic gas can, laundry detergent bottle, large coffee container. For poop, that’s where the litter comes in. You need to separate 1 and 2. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Tired of driving?

I can travel 300 miles in a day, but that’s hard. About 200-250 for a productive day, 150 for an easy day. Sometimes, in the west, you have to drive long distances to get to a place to stay. I think of how many miles I can travels in a day, then find services within that 200 miles.

OMG!! Where is it Actually COOL?

Honey, I’m here for the long ride. The only consolation is that fall is coming. Right now, it’s like a Groundhog Day rerun of 90 something, 90 something, 90 something...

OMG!! Where is it Actually COOL?

Hello, I’m the fool sitting in south Texas now. I’ve been in 90+ heat since late May. I’m done with this. Next year, I’m going to be lolling right on the Pacific coast. That’s where you go if y’all want to stay cool!

    Vinegar spray bottle clogging

Something tells me I should just use the vinegar from the bottle on the paper towel. Just cut out the spray bottle middle man, haha. Although those 1.5 liter weed sprayers look intriguing too. Any jr microbiologists here got any theories about diluting dish washing liquid breeding bacteria?

    Vinegar spray bottle clogging

I can not believe I have to ask this question, after over a year on the road. I wash my dishes with regular, white vinegar in a spray bottle, pretty standard. The spray part of the bottle keeps clogging. I get spray bottles from Home Depot that can take chemicals, supposedly. But, if the spray...

    Where to put the dog

The question may seem weird because maybe someone else had an idea that I didn’t think of. That’s the beauty of gathering opinions. Anyway, the boy ended up with the folding iCrate, just a bit smaller but enough room for him to sleep comfortably. He’s in the cargo area, with the crate pretty...
