Norcold 740 or 751 any good?

wow stern wake your system looks very efficient, nice design! I learned a lot from your posts, thanks The norcold design looks inferior to the VF design and VF is less expensive. no contest there. The truck fridge 49 is looking pretty good on a tight budget. Is there that large of a quality...

Norcold 740 or 751 any good?

Anyone tried these? they have the danfoss compressor now. The advantages compared to a portable unit are 1)a freezer box, 2) they would be less appealing to a thief because they look like a cheap mini firdge and are mounted. -matt

Starting build out 2015 Ford 150

    1. Sound deadening is super expensive, pack all free air space with polyiso foam board or pink foam board and it will be nice and quite 2. Reflectix is good for reflecting sunfrom windows like a sun shade, use foam board for insulation. I used some polyiso foam board with silver foil on each...

"Big Blue" Econoline extended van conversion

Pictures might be better than jibberish links The rear shelves are complete. The door slides for easy access, with a convenient thumb hole. The bed/couch was a little tricky, I ended up making a hinge out of some 2x4's and some 1/2" black pipe. I drilled holes in the bed rails and the 2x4's...

There will be a closet for hanging shirts in the front half of the tall cabinet/closet and there will be shelves in the back half where the sliding door is. The bed will be in between the wall and the cabinet and will fold up into a couch. I hope to get the cabinet/closet and bed completed this...

cdiggy, Thanks for the heads-up, it is unfortunate we have to deal with those issues, I'm glad we are cleaning things up, maybe one day we'll all be able to enjoy eating fish from the river.
