ISO Advice for trip from Houston to Portland via LA

I see. Yea, and I don't have the best steering on my van. I can control it well, but front end is a little loose on the steering due to age.  I'm not sure if this can be answered, but what would be the safest portion of that highway do you think? It'd be nice to pop on it, even for an hour.

Looking for advice on working longterm in one place

I agree. I experimented with van dwelling in Milwaukee in the winter, and I tolerated it just fine. Besides I don't really spend that much time in the van to be honest. It's really just for sleeping and minimal food prep. Otherwise I spend most of my time out walking around or working at...

Looking for advice on working longterm in one place

I joined the forum less than a year ago and a lot of you helped me to get my van up and running and ready for this crazy adventure I'm...

    North Georgia suggestions

Exactly--somewhere scenic to hang out and do nothing. Hiking is good, but we're mostly just getting away from home and trying to spend as little as possible. Thanks guys, I'll look into Kentucky.

Hey guys, My roommate and I are planning on taking a road trip in a couple of days. We're leaving from Milwaukee, WI and have our sites set on North Georgia, specifically Chattahoochee National Forest. Neither of us have ever been so it was kind of a shot in the dark. So I wanted to ask if...
