How can I find a mechanic near me who makes house calls?

Looks a lot like my Foxwell except that it has a battery tester.

How can I find a mechanic near me who makes house calls?

I second this suggestion. I had a Foxwell for a BMW I had and when I got my Nissan NV200 I paid about $75 for the software update and it scans fine.

Actually laughed out loud. Laughing now and it’s two days since I first read it.

Yeah, that post isn’t getting the number of ‘Likes’ that it should.

There’s no rule that says you have to participate.

    Sleeping with the door open

From the Journal of American Infection Control: ” Current guidelines for the practice of insulin injection recommend a clean injection site on the skin; however, disinfection with isopropyl alcohol is not typically necessary. Despite these guidelines, many resources still recommend isopropyl...

    Sleeping with the door open

As with the two previous instances, how was it confirmed that the first two came from dental visits and that yours was a result from a non-sterile injection? Specifically the injection because studies indicate that alcohol swabs prior to injections do almost diddly squat. (Search for the article...

    Sleeping with the door open

Unlike driving a car, working with electricity or using power tools there isn’t much I can do to ‘be careful at the dentist’ past choosing a competent dentist, which I think I have done. How were in instances you referenced linked to dental visits?

    Sleeping with the door open

I haven’t seen this! Thanks much for the heads up. I’m looking to buy a small parcel of land in the mountains as a ‘base camp’ and then venture out like your description of what Little Camper does.

    Sleeping with the door open

Yeah, I see your point. The situation here is more like a ‘State’ than a ’nation’ in some ways. It’s the size of California with a full third of the population of the US. Then consider that it is about 70% mountainous that is often completely uninhabitable. I tried checking the population...

    Sleeping with the door open

Another follow up on the safety level here in Japan. I went to the dentist on Thursday and he has the TV on the news on the chair-side monitor. For over 30 minutes every time my dentist let me sit up they they were still covering a case where 4 young guys beat up a store owner during a...

    Sleeping with the door open

Ahh, it depends on where you live. As an American I brought my caution with me to Japan but as a general rule it’s unjustified here. Home invasions do happen though. But elderly people that were known to keep large amounts of money are always the targets. I have two MaxxAir fans I recently...

    Sleeping with the door open

My mom had a story about me when I was very young. I think I was playing hide-and-seek with her. I just sat on the floor and covered my eyes. When asked why Ai was hiding like that I told her exactly what you said.

    When it's time to stop.

Yeah, I agree. But this is just the tip of the ‘things in Japan that need to change’ iceberg. But the US it’s own iceberg and the tip of that iceberg needs to be melted. Specifically the frequency of the use of lethal force by police. Read the following article. Bet you money the wound is...

You seem to misunderstand my position on this matter. I don’t agree with the system/attitude regarding work in Japan. I was had the secretary of a Japanese company I worked for tell me that I COULD NOT leave 4:45 even though I had nothing to do and simply wanted to have a leisurely trip to the...

Taking allotted vacation time is ‘frowned upon’ in Japan. This is especially true of workers larger, more desirable, companies.

Dying from overwork is apparently a thing here in Japan. And overtime, until late at night is a major cause of such. Japanese bosses can be tyrants, berating employees in front of other workers.

I agree. I found a site that stated the most common cause of suicide is depression. A second search indicates that individuals with low incomes are 1.5 to 3 times more likely to suffer from depression.

    When it's time to stop.

Eh— “Income inequality can cause all kinds of problems across the economic spectrum—but perhaps the most frightening is homicide. Inequality—the gap between a society's richest and poorest—predicts murder rates better than any other variable,” Personally I have always had a tendency to trust...
