Asking for Help finding Step Van Parts-salvage yards?

Check car-part.com. It is a site that links basically every salvage yard, and allows regional or national searches for parts. That said, I'm not sure if it includes step vans or just passenger vehicles. I've found the site very useful in the past. Good luck! Craig

Anyone here have a Sienna with an awning?

We bought the 2500mm (8' 2") ARB for our Ford Transit van, and it's nicely made. Given ARB's reputation for quality in the off-road scene, and the track record of these awnings (with a reasonable price) in-particular, it was a no-brainer for us. I'm currently fabricating awning-specific...

    Transit handling in the mountains???

In the 1350 miles since we bought our 2019 Transit 3.7L 148" MR, we were getting 18.0-18.5 mpg with easy driving in Michigan (not mountainous). This is before out build-out, with very little weight in the van.

    Transit, Promaster or Sprinter?

I've owned a Mercedes (not a van, but an old diesel wagon) years ago. It was a neat car, but incredibly expensive to repair, and more finicky from a maintenance standpoint. Dodges don't have a good track record for long-term quality. I've not owned Dodges in recent years, but was in that...

DC to DC charger installation issue

I have the same 20A Renogy DC-to-DC charger, and am in the process of getting things wired up in my Ford Transit.  FWIW, my experience with Renogy has been absolutely terrible.  As the OP mentioned, the manual is very vague.  While the Tech Support people I've talked with have been friendly...

    Insulated Foam Board covering

I'd personally use a spray adhesive to attach fabric to it vs. painting it.

New Ford Transit owners in Michigan

Hello, all.  We're just starting our 2019 Transit cargo van build (148" WB, Medium Roof because that's the tallest that would fit through our 9' garage door).  It's the Magnetic Metallic color, which we like a lot.  I have rebuilt several Jeeps from the ground-up, and also have some...
