Im contacting my attorney now that located in MI. i worked with him before concerning my business before leaving MI. Im writing him now about these issus and he'll just bill me ,usally about $100 for the time n research .

I think it would be a good idea if all RV "ers had a CB ( kind of like truckers). It would be great to talk to others on the road . I listen to mine all the time while driving.

Well I've been full timing for about 3 weeks now. I have a 95 TT (Jayco) Does anybody have any suggestions for an AM/FM radio antenna ? Prefer an aftermarket that easy to install and buy from a local source i.e. Radio Shack, Wal-Mart (china -mart),etc. A good station is hard to find...

Final outcome: It was the converter. Mechanic never showed up so I installed it myself. Everything works great!!

Update: I replaced the fuse with a new fuse holder n fuse. It Worked for about 6 hrs ( all lights, everything), then the lights started to dim again. I have a mechanic on the way today. He said it might be the converter. More updates later. Im ready to start my full time RV lifestyle, I...

Thanks for the replys. I will start right now looking into it. I was supposed to bo on the road today, but I want it fixed. I will give an update soon. *** I forgot to mention, I have the TT , plugged in to with an extension cord ( bought new from RV dealer) .

Well Im almost ready to start full time RVing. I bought a 95 Jayco. I had it plugged in for the last week while cleaning and getting ready to leave. Then all of a sudden. The lights starting dimming. So I called the local RV PLACE, the mechanic came out and said i needed a new battery...

Update: I was a little delayed in my departure. I picked up the travel trailer yesterday, and it's in progress of being stuffed with my personal belongings, tools, etc Should be on the road in 4 days. ( new life)

Thanks for the replies . I will check out Ebay n Amazon. I was looking at 3,500 watt portable generator . Do rooftop panels leak???? Were going to be full time and im concerned about maintance in 1-2 years. I dont want to spend every 6 months fixing leaks with silocone. Lol lol

Thanks to everybody that has given advice and warm welcomes. My journey should begin in about 2-3 weeks. 1995 28ft Jayco I downloaded the RV parks n Passport American apps. Also bought Woodalls. The reality of going off the grid is starting to come to light.
