Which GPS device do you recommend for a tow vehicle? Thx!!!

The concept is great, but........federal, state, and county regulations would kill the idea. Seems like no one wants anyone to live full time in a RV under any circumstances on any land anywhere. Sure they will allow us a RV on land while building a permanent structure on your land with time...

I did a test pull of a 20 foot light weight with my 2011 Liberty 3.7 with no distribution hitch and it was all over the road (sway). According to a recommended wheel base chart, my wheelbase of 106" is a little over limit of 20 feet.  Think I'm going to take a Class C and tow my jeep. Roger

It has Select Trac which has a neutral position for the transfer case. Setup for towing!!  Also it doesn't have the locking steering wheel so no need to keep switch turned on.  My concern will the older big blocks have the balls to tow anything?

Anyone have any input in the capability of older Class C's towing a Jeep. Do the 460's or 454's have enough guts? Heard many problems with the V10's. Tried to see if I could go with a bumper pull hard side of a decent size to pull with the Liberty, but the Liberty 4X4 has such a short wheelbase...

I agree, hausmutti, there are many bad va's out there, been happy with my current one though. My team Dr said there are extreme problems in the VA due to lack of funding presently.

Any other folks using VA for your primary healthcare? How do you handle the VA when moving around and changing your enrollment? Or do you modify your enrollment when you move around? What about VA provided medications? Thx!!! Roger.

Waverider1987, looking for the same info. Most workamper jobs want a couple, not having too much luck being single. Also, I see that some jobs have requirements about your rig, not wanting older RV units etc.... I will keep an eye on this thread, if anyone has any info, please chime in.. Thx, Roger

Have read that in addition to excessive mileage, extremely low mileage is just as much as a problem. Has anyone else experiences this? Thinking of a class C older unit.

Hey Everyone, Looking at getting a start with a major life style change. Thinking I would like to do some traveling and workamping around the country. Plan on coming to the event  in 2018 to get some insight from present nomad dwellers for ideas on getting started. Retired about 3 years ago...
