    RTR shelter idea

And don't forget, the UV rays and desert air are not kind to plastic. You'll be replacing everything often.

    Ta-Da! Almost done.

I haven't had a problem pulling it so far, I've been dragging it around for a couple of years now. Dragging is the right word, it pulls like a parachute. The utility box on the front is a new addition though.

Yurt vs Travel Trailer - Cost & Comfort Considerations

I love Yurts. Very warm in the wet/cold weather. Their shape deflects the wind well and they are cool in the heat. However, the setup is a pain, and you sure better have friends around when you do it. Definitely not a one-man operation.

Room for Two and a Half

I get the concern. This is your adventure. When I decided to do this, my mom voiced her wishes to come along. However, her idea of roughing it is no room service. She quickly changed her mind. If she had decided, I would have put a time limit on it. I love mom, but I'm doing this for me...

    Trailer marker lights

Going to try sanding the frame in a spot and ground there. Thinking that's probably what my issue is. Thanks!

    Women Only: Breathe, breathe, breathe....

I'm in the Phoenix area. I've been delayed by a couple of days, hoping to be there on Wednesday or Thursday. Had an issue with the floor of the trailer from some earlier water damage. Am replacing the floor rather than risk falling through it, and that requires taking most everything out...

    Trailer marker lights

buying land to make a new truly free place

I can only see two ways to make it work. First would be a private members only RV park. The second, become a church. Whole different rules apply to churches. I can see it now, Church of the Rolling Wheels.

    Trailer marker lights

Today I pulled the broken tail lights and wiring off my trailer and put new everything on.  Hooked it up to my truck and I've got brake lights, turn signals, everything I'm supposed to, except the marker lights on the side.   The directions for installing them were vague, and this is the first...

No RTR for current Ehrenberg dwellers?

I'm really thinking Crystal Hill now. Bob mentions the area (Kofa) in his new video. https://www.campendium.com/kofa-national-wildlife-refuge-crystal-hill I hear the Levee Road area is crowded already. The other option is the LTVA area, but I didn't budget for that.
