On the plus side of your new dietary plans, this will probably be a good change for both of you. I know I eat to much processed food. I’ll keep my eyes open for new recipes!
Trish and her crew survived their first night with Milo, she said he snores like a hippo! Sounds like he will be pampered and loved. She already has scheduled a vet visit soon.
We made it to this new BLM campground outside Cedar City Ut where I stayed last year. But now you have to go online to...
I was glad Trish took Milo, he gave me such a sad look. You’re right Jason, one high maintenance dog is enough for me. Long drive today, but made it to Cedar City Ut for a few nights. Already cooler, thank goodness!
i will be leaving Pahrump tomorrow and am so sad about Milo. Doug will be here a little longer and will continue to give him food and water, Trish is still trying to help him find a home. I could call the shelter but don’t think they can catch him, also it is a kill shelter. None of the other...
Milo Update (another one)!
So there is another camper in a bus with her son, they are looking to foster and a local shelter will help with the vet and neuter. They come over daily with their dog and Milo really likes them. We need to get him used to the leash but he freezes. He warmed up to...
I will try to get better pics today. Milo really seems to have the makings of a very good dog. Very submissive with Bella and others. Does not understand the leash concepts, one step at a time. It was so nice seeing him play with Button and even climbed in Trish’s lap.
This week it will get into the high 80’s hitting 96 by Sat. We did have a breeze the last few days which made it very comfortable. Q friends found me and stayed for a few days, I think Bella enjoyed having a friend around. My campground is still buried in snow so taking my time heading north...
So I too packed up and left, sad we have to part ways.
Jason sorry I didn’t get to give Chili dog some love, keep us posted on her progress. Bellla will miss her. Safe travels all. Jacque take care out there as well!
Peace and safe travels…
Well this wind is getting on my last nerve! just watching trash blow from one wash to the next. Bell and I did not sleep well last night, might be a nap in my future!
At the risk of sounding like your mother (I know what’s new) …..
Keep in mind, what seemed like a minor cold when you were younger can lead to something serious for those in our age bracket. Rest, hydrate even ibuprofen can help.
My work here is done! 😉😉
Immerse yourself in all things Van Life. Watch Bob Wells videos, others too for the pro’s and con’s of different rigs. I wish I’d gotten a high top van to begin with but we live and learn, that’s part of our lives now.
A couple of us in camp caught an amazing light show the other night. Lighting was lighting up the distant skies among the storm clouds. Really was beautiful!
A couple of side panels tried to take off But we secured them back! Overall really impressed how well it stood up.
Boy I really need a warm, calm day or two!
Pirate camp almost blew away yesterday! Jacqu if you see this did you intend to leave one side unziped ? Wind was really bad yesterday, don’t want it to get torn up. And no I don’t know how to send her a private msg!
You promise! Actually meant to come over more often but the wind is kicking my butt. We had a guy in another Class A stop and asked if He could camp here for a few days in our spot, told him we had a vacancy!
Many of the group moved to Plomosa Rd to attend van aide. A few of us remained and today during the high winds Randy aka Random Painted Hwy and I
took care of securing a clam tent getting ready to fly off while the owner was gone. So glad it’s died down outside now.
