    Winter driving in flagstaff

I failed to mention I have an F350, not a van. BUT...should be fine on a van. Im not sure where you are, but NY winters suck. lake effect crap snow.  The tires have been great though. I do like the groove in them. Very aggressive.

    Winter driving in flagstaff

Single digits isnt that bad. As long as you have a warm home or van to get into. past few years have been brutal in the NE. couple nights were -11 when I got out of work. wind chill is what makes it really bad. I have a buddy who is a mechanic and big into vehicles...also a Northeast person. he...

    Living in crew cab tacoma?

sure its possible. But very few people probably could. Unless it was that or a hard ground. I had same configuration in a dodge dakota. While effective to haul multiple people or decent cargo, living space would be tight and quite uncomfortable. But like I said...better than a hard ground.

    Van vs Pickup

Like you, I have an '11 F350. Ive been interested in TCs, but dont want to get near max payload. the dry weight is useless. That doesnt count in for cargo, tanks (if you get one with black/grey tanks) and anything else you put in there. TCs get heavy quick. Ive considered a popup, but I might...

Texas opens state parks to evacuees

I see it as they were offered a place to go to. Not so much a FEMA situation where they provide everything. It beats walking around in the streets. Perhaps other campers may or may not help out any who show up.

"You can't test drive it. Company / owner prohibits non-employee drivers."

Should ask them how many cars they sell. With a policy like that, unlikely many.
