    RV repair at a camp?

That's a great website for checking out your wheels for potential trouble.  Thanks for the tip.   If I read it right the complaints were for a 4.6 and mine is a 5.4

    RV repair at a camp?

5.4 trinity but it's the 2009 model.  I reat that they fixed the problem of plugs breaking off in 2008. Any before that could be trouble it seems.

    RV repair at a camp?

I think it's a fabulous idea!  Any one doing it now for reasonable rates in quartzsit or ehrenberg area? I'd rather pay cash to a vehicle dweller who is trying to make some extra bucks and save some money over a shop in town.  I need plugs changed and gas filter changed.   Have the parts but not...

    Questions about Grief.

Hi. My name is Rick and I read your post and wanted to reply because I have some experience working with grief. Lots of info out there for you to read and tons of folks to talk with who've been through the same thing you are dealing with now. While everyone deals with grief differently, there...

is it hard on the Alternator?

I have been struggling to understand why my alt (2009 F250) is not charging the 5     12v AGMs in my slide in camper. It charges my truck battery enough to keep going even though that battery is weak and will probably need replacing soon.  It's putting out 14.2 to the truck batt. but only barely...

    camper insulation upgrade

Hi, thanks for your reply.   I hear you - I haven't seen many of these old camperette things around with a roof like that.  I guess it was a 60's thing.  They've all died off over the years but this one somehow survived.  It's a beater but then so am I so I kind of like it.   When I first got...

    camper insulation upgrade

Hi folks.  I'm hoping to get some comments on my insulation upgrade for my old (60's I think) camerette or small slide in camper without the cab overhang part.  It has a double layer fiberglass roof with about 1 inch airspace between the two layers for 1/2 of the roof, and then there is a single...

    Dish TV

I bought a refurbished dish network dish from Mobile Dish Mall website and mounted it myself on the roof. I think it was only $300 back in June when I got it. I'm happy with it and it wasn't that hard to install. The thing I liked about it is the dish is supposed to be bigger than the tailgater...

    Pulling thee Trigger

Hi Matt and everyone.    I too am new here and I wanted to say to you, Matt, that I'm nearing doing the same thing as you at 60 years old.  I have wanted to do this since I was around your age when I started spending up to about 7 or 8 days at a time in the bush (working) living out of a...
