How do you carry, if you carry a gun?

I deleted a bunch of posts that were off-topic. I should delete more but I'll probably leave them. Please stay on the topic - How do you carry? It has been our experience on this forum that debating about the usefulness or necessity of carrying and using guns always leads to disagreements and...

Just Throwing This Out There for Consumption

Yes, you will be embraced! All it takes is a willingness to be friendly and greet people when they are hanging around outside. Nomads live in all types of vehicles so you'll fit in fine with your Trek. I second WanderingRose's advice - stick to public campgrounds. I've never seen a 10-year rule...

Skyrocketing fuel costs have van lifers concerned. Here are 5 reasons why this may be the BEST thing to happen to your van life dream.

I'm closing this thread because I can't keep up with it. There are other places on the internet where you can discuss the government, the media, and various theories. This forum should center around van dwelling.

Married Couple Traveling Together in Separate Vans

I've heard the advice - "Don't sell your van." - more than once from couples who met on the road. That said, I also know some couples who moved in together and are very happy with the arrangement. It's a decision you'll have to make if and when you meet someone.

    Reaction score?

The old forum had a "reputation" score which was similar to a" like" or "reaction". It required a little more input than just clicking a like button. The like button on the old software made the forum crash so it was removed. Unfortunately, the reputation points did not transfer over to the new...

    Music for traveling

I looked at my library and I haven't added anything since 2020 so I'm a little behind on the recent changes made by Apple. Apparently, Apple Music is a streaming service with a monthly charge but you can still get iTunes for free and then buy music to download.

    Music for traveling

I search and buy music from an HP laptop but I've only gone through Apple music. Apple deliberately makes it complicated to use anything but Apple music with an ipod.

    Music for traveling

I think there is a way to download music without Apple software but I've never done it that way. I've always either bought directly from Apple or downloaded music from a cd to my laptop then added it to my Apple library. You could get an mp3/mp4 player if you want to avoid using Apple. We...

    Music for traveling

We have ipod nano, 7th generation think, that is half full with over 900 songs. Some were loaded from old CDs, some I bought from apple, some were from friends and relatives collections. When visiting people I always ask if I can go through their CDs and load more onto our iPod. We have a little...

Building while Living in the Van

Camping on BLM and forest land works great for doing a build. Make sure that you are far enough away from other people so that you are not disturbing them. We have done inside work in Home Depot parking lots. Try to keep any outside mess to a minimum. Home Depot is good because you always need...
