When I sanitize our rv tank, the formula is as posted above 1/4 c bleach per 15 gal. fresh water. I do bypass my water heater.. I then run water pump and open faucets in sink and bath. refill water tank and rinse...do this a few times to remove excess bleach and odor.

I understand the complete process of evaporation, living in the low desert for many years, now that I am older I want and Need AC lol. Since I will be doing a 3 month trip in the south and east I made the AC pretty much permanent and made a marine vinyl cover for it. so some update pics.

On the absorbtion fridge in my camper, I have a vent fan that helps exhaust the heat away from the coils, and inside I have a fan in the fridge section and in AZ heat it does alright
