Passport America - Yeh or Nah?

10 yrs is encouraging. I've been checking the campgrounds that accept PA but there doesn't seem to be a lot in West Texas which will be my route from San Antonio heading to AZ and the RTRs Thank you for your feedback.

Passport America - Yeh or Nah?

Hadn't thought of that. I think day use is typically $2 or so with Passport America. Good advice, thanks!

Passport America - Yeh or Nah?

Yes, my thought is every couple of weeks I'll need a campground for laundry, shower and maybe tv/wifi. Thanks!

Passport America - Yeh or Nah?

Yeah, don't wanna spend hours on the phone. I think I've checked Good Sam before but it's expensive I think. Or was that Escapees? Well, I'll check into them again. Thanks for your feedback.

Passport America - Yeh or Nah?

Does everyone here mainly stay on free land? I understand that most full-timers need to be cost conscious but just wondered if anyone recommended Passport America. Or any other group plan? I'm thinking ahead to when I start moving around as weather permits. Thanks

GIRLS ROOM: Nomadic Women's Groups on the internet

I signed up for SOTF. Have only been able to make one gathering. They are more weekend warriors vs vandwellers so I probably won't renew my membership;. Thanks for the links, Cyndi!

Women Only: I’ve failed on my attempt to be a nomad

I hear you on the boredom part. I just went weekend camping and found myself bored.  Now I've got a few books to read to help entertain my mind. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you.

[split] WOMEN ONLY!!! Traveling across TX

Most people, from all walks of life, mean you no harm, is the truth.----- I agree with this. Speaking with you gals is making me feel better. I'm leaning towards going but still have a little time to think about it. Thank you all for your feedback!

Yes, it can become overwhelming. But the nice thing is I can easily drive away.

[split] WOMEN ONLY!!! Traveling across TX

I10W is my planned route. When I check the different campsite apps I couldn't find anything that I thought seemed to be ok in the remote areas prior to El Paso. I'm not familiar with safe zones. I'll check the links, thanks.

[split] WOMEN ONLY!!! Traveling across TX

Here's a pic of my pop-up. It's very secured when closed. I was more worried about people taking my clothes out of my car. But yeah, everyone's travelling and staying at hotels. Valid point.
