Make ice in 110v mini freezer?

I'll second this. The fewer "conversion" steps, the better. Sun->electricity->mechanical->thermal (Ice) ->thermal (cool the food) Just go Sun->electricity->mechanical->(food) Like Watch said, you won't necessarily be starting with 32 degree water unless you are at a creek in the mountains in...

    Phoenix Area Folks

I have randomly bumped into a few folks in my travels who also either frequent this board or watch the videos, including camping this weekend with a long time acquaintance through my sister who recognized the CRVL sticker on my rig which is now my sister's rig (We need more of these stickers)...

Sshh secret - no medical insurance

I get non conforming PPO insurance for about $460 a month for me (50), my wife (49), and my son (23)who does NOT live with us. "Normal" conforming insurance would be $1,600 per month. It's the same coverage but no copay, It's 80/20 on a discounted rate. $1K deductible, so catastrophic coverage...

HT will also likely not have any bugs or eggs from the time of heat treat. This is for vector control on international shipments.

Solar panels serial or parallel with MPPT controller

I always run parallel panels on RV's. This allows for one being shaded by, say the Air Conditioner part of the day, and then the one on the other side gets shaded by it the rest of the day. This ensures that one panel being shaded does not affect any others. I also over panel, so one does not...

    Smelly Sink?

I put a little bit of the camco blue stuff for the RV black tank in my RV grey tank. Believe it or not, food waste smells much worse. Also, as you mentioned, a trap will help too, and a vent even more, but I realize that may be more difficult in the 5 gallon bottle waste tank system you are using.

Backed into a corner in Wisconsin

$15 is pathetic. Not even a few days worth of groceries for one person who eats lightly. Will they allow your S8 to be applied to an RV park space or something similar?

Beet Harvest in Montana for Couples Only

They probably think couples are more stable. Like insurance companies. When you get married, rates drop. As if a pissed off spouse yelling at you while driving is somehow safer... :dodgy: :D

    Rodents

Christmas light strings under the vehicle keeps them away as well, or so the campground hosts say, and do... I've done it with no issues, but then we are not out in the wild that much. LED's use very little energy, and they have those little solar powered strings at HF, but not very bright.

So much for plans, lol... Bought a different kind of trailer.

Hard not to do when the right rig drops in your lap. My 25' Nomad Trailer was what I planned to have for at least the next decade to come, with all the mods: solar, genset, plumbing, electrical, furnishings, etc. but when my friend decided he needed a different motorhome for his almost...
