Brand new, open box Propex HS2211 includes all original parts and packaging. This unit has never been used, has been boxed and is ready to ship. The HS2211 is similar to the HS2200 with the additional capability of being mounted externally. Asking $900, I'll cover shipping...

Repairing gashes on vinyl sheet flooring

Thanks for the suggestion on the seam sealer! I've read good things about those used on tents.  The flooring was actually very durable, one day I was a bit too confident though. I was transporting really heavy furniture, 100+ pounds and angled it so the edge was digging right into the floor...

Repairing gashes on vinyl sheet flooring

I ended up using the original gorilla glue, seems to have worked okay. I was primarily concerned about sealing it to prevent water from seeping through, it's not pretty but it seems solid enough

Input on plan for battery box / bench

Scott thanks for the advice! I do plan on using a battery isolator. I'm curious about the 2x2s though, the ones I see at home depot seems very lightweight and weak, but I could be underestimating their strength. Do / did you use a specific type of wood that was more solid?

Repairing gashes on vinyl sheet flooring

I have a few gashes and tears from improperly moving heavy furniture on my vinyl sheet flooring.. can anyone recommend some type of clear epoxy that can strengthen the rips I made? Someone had recommended superglue laid with wax paper on top, if there's not a better alternative out there for...

    Drilling accurately

I'm planning to screw them into the sides of the wall so I have something to secure cabinets and my bed platform to, but it sounds like I may have possibly raised a red flag, please share your thoughts!

    Drilling accurately

I have some holes in my Transit where I've installed nutserts, having trouble accurately drilling into my 2x4s with my drill press. When it's off by just 1mm, the screw is no longer aligned and I have to start over, any tips on how y'all have done it?

Hooking up to Ford Transit CCP

Has anyone here connected to their Transit's CCP (Customer Connection Point)? I'm quite curious about a few things,  - what you used to connect to it, was it a battery terminal lug?  - did you screw against the plastic housing?  - what length and type of wire gauge did you use? - also where did...

    Please review my setup

So glad I posted here first, will definitely make use of the CPP, thank you for saving me

    Please review my setup

Thank you everyone for your valued feedback, looks like there's quite a bit more I need to reconsider. I'm a bit timid hooking up to the alternator but it sounds for the best. Going back to the drawing board on this.

    Please review my setup

Hi folks, this is what I'm planning to install next weekend, I've measured the lengths of the wires and will be using appropriate wire gauges. Aside from that, is there anything here that I could be missing or not considering? I'm using a 2018 Ford Transit 250, from my understanding, that uses a...

Mr Heater vs Propex HS2000 heater

Thanks for sharing! I've been going back and forth from the Propex and Webasto Have you tried reversing the fan to intake instead of exhaust? I'm hoping that will help circulate the warm air, if that's even possible with cold 10 degree outside air.

    2015+ Transit Rain Deflector

These are the Ford OEM Transit 2015-2019 deflectors (VGK4Z-18246-A) for medium and high roof. They're horrible! My previous Chevy deflectors were right at the very edge of the window Here's an official photo

    2015+ Transit Rain Deflector

I just installed my rain deflector for my Transit, I'm extremely disappointed. There isn't much coverage so I can barely crack my windows open. I've added some photos that should explain.

Minimal setup for all night warmth

Thanks for the milk crate suggestion! When moisture freezes on the walls then melts, doesn't water end up pooling up underneath? I read modern cars have coating to prevent rust, but I imagine we still wouldn't want a pool of water sitting anywhere on the frame? If I install a Maxxair on the...

Do you vent in below freezing temperatures?

Definitely! When I was in Denver, I didn't know anyone. I met a few van folks at Breckenridge, there were quite a few of us there over Thanksgiving. Anyone doing the same, feel free to send me a PM.

Minimal setup for all night warmth

I just upgraded to a Transit from a City Express yesterday because I didn't feel I could safely use my buddy heater without catching either my bed frame or sleeping bag on fire while I'm asleep. I want to get back to Summit County as soon as possible while still keeping a livable environment...

Do you vent in below freezing temperatures?

I was in Breckenridge last week and had this exact same issue with the buddy heater, without my sleeping bag I would've froze. I realized without having a warm interior to lounge, living well wasn't possible and / or sustainable. I ended up driving back home, considering a larger van and taking...

    Secure battery to frame?

Could I fasten the battery to one of the tie down rings in the corner? I purchased a sealed AGM battery, I imagine it's safe from outputting dangerous gases? I haven't had much luck finding a suitable case for the battery, it seems most people create their own custom wood case.
