........I'm not out on the trails yet, but i just realized the biggest threat for a solo RV'er.  Forest fires! Be safe out there everyone!

I'll miss this xmas season lol I won't make it to California until Feb. or Fall of next year. I heard that some people build up the floor so they can use that created space for storage.

that is good planning. i always bought used cars and funds are extremely limited in any case so, I'll work with that. i hope to find an extended HT. will definitely check carfax. i think they give you a 12 mth. warranty??  i'll need a job before i join the van nomads. that's my biggest worry...

We just got a rude intro to winter here on the east coast lol It's great to have family "around". They are nice vans. Are you thinking of getting a older or newer van? I'm worried about breakdown.

Hi Travelaround! It's inspiring to hear that other women are joining the van dwelling community. Don't forget your snow tires and insulation when you head out in Mar./Apr.  :-)  ........you have experienced help and the equipment too. Lucky you! Will you travel with another RV when you go west...
