I have two brand new Duracell 6 volt batteries that have been hooked up to a Powermax 3 stage charger for over 24 hours now. Have only used the batteries briefly for 12 volt lighting. I’m not seeing over 12.28v on multimeter. Is this normal?

I’m researching chargers for my cargo trailer build. I have 2 Duracell 6v batteries, 215 AH. I also have 100w solar panels and a 2000w generator.     Most of the chargers I see are low amp or multiple bank chargers. Looking for a smart, 3 stage. Specific model numbers would be appropriated.

It’s awfully convenient since my battery box is going to be right there too. Just worried about the integrity of the vent after cutting into it. Easily replaced though.
