Finding no frills RV parks

Cubey, I am so glad to hear of someone in a 20ft Class B with a utility trailer tow. I am thinking more and more about that setup.

    Finding no frills RV parks

Wow, Brian, I have been feeling a call to the Southwest as soon as I am mobile- particularly NM. You have just validated my idea with the concept that it is totally affordable. Yay!

    Prepper wondering , Now What.

Interesting question. I am getting started with my serious prepping and I was going to get on here and ask what everyone does about food storage? I was wondering about a small cargo trailer as a tow?

For...

My Biggest Fear: Stuck and Settling Down

15 years ago, my husband and I packed everything we owned into a moving truck, put the kids and pets in our minivan and moved to Florida from Chicago. His fear almost kept us back. I looked at him and said I would rather give it a shot than stay until we were 50 and wonder how our lives could...

    vandweller guys

This makes me so sad. You are the same YOU she knew before she found out about the van. I just don't get that kind of thinking. I know it must hurt, but obviously she didn't deserve you. Hang in there.

Are you embarrased to tell ladies you live in a van or camper?

I really love this topic. I have been married more than once. Sadly, after much time alone healing my heart and my Spirit, I realize I spent my first 40 years buying into the lie of Conformity. Someone mentioned their mother at 80. I, too, have a mother from that era when consumerism was born in...

I just got the third degree treetmemt from my mom

Just some input from the new chick ;-) I was reading this thread and when you said "I'm going to be living in my van" my brain processed "I live in a van, down by the river" LOL It's from the old Chris Farley routine on SNL. Anyway, my thought was that your mother may have had visions of a...

Any experience with 99' Coachman Leprechaun??

That leaking issue on the cabovers is one thing I am leery about with windows in that area. The RV I fell in love with has windows on the front and both sides to bring more light into the small RV, but it has me worried about three more places for potential leaks. :-(

I feel like I've found my people!!!

Bob, I have to admit, this forum is really selling me on Class B's! I saw some newer ones at the Tampa RV show last month that were just a little bit wider than those skinny minis, and I really liked them! Feel free to keep advising me!
