    Interesting Potty

Does it do double duty as the grey water catchment system? Looks like it would line up pretty good.

    Advice Needed re: Towing

I would add a transmission cooler. Not to hard to do yourself. It's a small radiator that goes inline with the fluid hoses that go to your current radiator.

    what bike? (motorbike)

Try to always use non-alcohol gas when possible, you will have less problems. And your mileage will be better. Not that 73 mpg is a problem with gas. But it can sit a lot longer with the non-alcohol gas if need be. Enjoy...

    what bike? (motorbike)

My XT-225 currently has 11,000+ miles and is completely reliable. But then I take very good care of it. I change the oil every 1000 miles. But it only takes a quart plus a smidgen so not a big deal. I check valve clearance every 3000 miles but only set clearance once in it's life. And it wasn't...

Thanks Cyndi. Got the bug out bag ebook. I'll read it at some point, it will definitely go in front of the fiction stuff.

    Noise Pollution

I live in the boonies. Nearest house is through the woods, my woods, a quarter mile away. So quiet and I like it. Although yesterday, coming from the house through the woods I hear automatic gunfire. Three burst with single and double taps mixed in, separated by reload time. Now it requires a...

    what bike? (motorbike)

I'll admit the seat can get hard. A lot of people get an after market seat. But I'm too tight assed to spend $350 for a good seat. But on the Colorada weeklong trip we rode all day up in the mountains and I don't remember any real discomfort. But this wasn't constant asphalt riding. It was all...

    beer making

I had an aunt who made home brew out in the country. Her recipe was quite simple. I don't remember any boiling water. She used a big crock; sugar, Fleischmans yeast, well water, white rice and that was about it. I may have forgotten something as this was in the late sixties. Cheese clothe...

    what bike? (motorbike)

I have a Yamaha XT-225. It weighs 250# and gets about 74 mpg. Put it in my pickup and drove out to Silveryon, CO and rode the high passes for a week then up to Moab, UT for another week of riding in the desert. Again with about 7 guys and gals. It's a great bike and will go anywhere. Light...

    Florida Keys?

The key that is next to KeyWest is Cow Key. You might have better luck there. It's more industrial. All the homeless used to live there. 'course this info is about 15 years ago. I parked a rented motor home on the FDOT right of way while finishing up a lighting project that my resident...

Weather Reporting from the East CoastLive️️

Well it's going to 21 tonight in NW Florida with a high tomorrow of 46. I'm not used to this. As I'm out in the country it'll probably go lower than that north of Bonifay where I am.  I've got outside faucets dripping, in fact I started them last night, but I'm wondering if I need to go check...

Home is where the humidity is.

I live about 50-60 miles from the coast, Panama City Beach. Right now humidity is 60-70%. Temp 60-70 during the day and goes down at night, most nights 38-45. We get the occasional cold snap. A couple of years ago went down to the teens, but that's the exception. I lived for 32 years on...

Weather Reporting from the East CoastLive️️

I rode my little XT-225 into Bonifay at noon'ish. It never got over 50 and with the humidity in the air, it had rained, made it feel like 30. I dropped off a small bag of garbage at one of the parks and mailed my Netflix DVD back to Panama City. Coming back to the broken bolt ranch it drizzled...
