Okay, so I have to share this. It was bugging me for the first two weeks we were in the RV, and I finally found the problem and got it replaced. Sorry about the pics if they are too big.
So, when I first got the RV, the first couple days weren't so bad. Everything was normal, and we were living...
Wow, unless they're like a rich elder fellow, I would be highly, *highly* skeptical. Way to much danger can happen in this type of job.
Now if you wouldn't mind that, sounds like a good opp! :)
I like how he says with the conversion it costs $349,000 but is asking $369,000... Don't think that's gonna roll over too well.
I could buy a luxury Class A for that cost and have enough money to buy a Tesla to use as my power station and just camp near Tesla charge stations! Do everything on...
IMO, follow your dreams. If you are letting a cat and dog get in the way of owning a truck and dog, then should you be owning a cat AND a dog? No negativity here, just curious!
Also consider this: Though a van would be hard to build up for you, it would be a very nice project. You can build it...
Or just toss it up on Craigslist under the "free" section if you can't sell off the hull. ;) People will take anything and everything on there (except pets usually.)
I'm a bit curious, and don't mean to rouse any troubles as I think you have a good setup going on here. But all your reasons for doing this is "cheap", not a single reason is because you wanted to do it to experience it or enjoy life freely (IE living on your own terms), etc.
I only mention...
Be careful in your suspicions, sometimes RV's sell very quickly! People are always looking to buy in the Winter since they are more expensive starting in the Spring.
Currently where I am at in Lubbock, every single day is Black Friday. Constantly pushing crowds, long lines and rude people. Been that way all year long. I will NOT shop there unless they are the only one in town carrying a particular item.
@Van-Tramp:
About the memory foam, it sounded like you got one of the gel-foam mattress'/toppers, which is more of a liquid versus a viscus cloth. Regular memory foam doesn't have moisture in it and shouldn't solidify.
For example...
If you're plugged into shore, tankless heat is the best. If you're not plugged into shore, getting a small propane water heater is probably best.
Or you can put a winding black PVC tube on your roof to gather heat from the sun. This works less well in the cold though.
I think people are losing respect and the whole aspect of a "good days work" because the work they're working typically means nothing these days. 40 years ago people worked in a wood mill, general grocer, etc and it meant surviving happily. Nowadays people are slaving in front of a phone at call...
Isn't Oktoberfest in Fredricksburg? New Braunfels is a regular town, where Fredricksburg is dedicated to tourism of the German brewery.
But you are right, they are both nice places! I dislike I-35 that runs through New Braunfels as it causes crazy traffic around 5pm, but it's very pretty there!
Nvidia shield has one fundemental problem: It's nVidia. It's riddled full of bugs, bad drivers and bad software. I follow several online places that are heavy into hand held gaming and browsing devices and they all hate the shield because its completely outdated.
most recommend getting a...
Haha Thaedyn, I loved the New Braunfels area! Especially Fischer! (Just not San Antonio... Ugh) So pretty! Unfortunately I live in Lubbock, and that is where the job is that will pay for this beast (until they say I can work on the road!) so I need to be here for a little while. But it gives me...
I guess that is what I need to do then, Seraphim! The whole reason I need to do it is because the dip stick began to rust a bit, so I need a new one, and I don't want any of the rust bits in the tranny. Inspector said it wasn't a problem, but I want my basis covered!
Thanks for the info, will...
