    New dangers.

You got that right. That or report a dead body. We found one once, took them right to it and they held us for 32 hours till they investigated. The person had to have been dead for a few years.

    New dangers.

Worked great, thank you for sharing (no ads). Great pictures, the abandoned Pier is my favorite. It has a mirage like quality to it. I would never have figured out what it was.  If you ever get the chance, visit the semi abandon ghost town of Mogollon, New Mexico. You would love it. ...

Sorry it took so long to answer.  Outside Concho,  Arizona in the White mountain area.  I here this is a problem around Williams, Az. too. A friend of mine has 20 acres up there with an old trailer on it . He told me someone broke in and set up a lab in it.

    Great tip for all vechicles

Old clock maker tip,  also works for brass.  I don't know why he used the light bulb to heat it up.  You do have to heat up the Alum in boiling hot water or it will not dissolve, after dissolving it  will eat up the bolt. It works. An  old trick my dad taught me.  Its a chemical reaction were...

    Great tip for all vechicles

Here is another great tip on way you should always carry a container of Alum and rtv gasket maker with you. Alum is a spice used to make pickles. https://www.mccormick.com/spices-and-flavors/herbs-and-spices/spices/alum It can also be used to dissolve a broken bolt. Especially if you are not...

Recommendation for a Van rig for solo traveller?

Wow thanks for that post. That is all you really need. The Idea is to keep it as simple as you can. Even a class b was too much for me.

The Disadvantages of Modifying an Old Ambulance

I seen them before and they work great. The problem is the stealth factor. https://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/6067296451.html http://www.oddee.com/item_98338.aspx

    Burro and Scamp trailers

I hear you, the cabin fever is building in me too. Mount it. When traveling keep it simple. I am not a fan of towing anything. A trailer is an accident waiting to happen, not to mention the added expense's and parking space. Keep the height as low as possible. The 49 was a good looking truck...

    Simple hanging storage idea?

2 "L" shape brackets of the type made for shelf's. bolt the wire basket to it. You can also use plastic ties cable zip ties to hold the basket down. They also make universal spring loaded curtain rods for shower curtain's that extend to different sizes. They work well in a van with no drilling...

    Considering this van

The price is high in my opinion I would offer her 1500.00 The mileage would not concern me if it does not have rust. I am pretty handy mechanically and dropping an engine or transmission in a van is no big deal I tend to stay away from handicap vans, no matter how cheap they are. That is a lot...

    Cute Little Van

Those are Chinese/Gm "mule's". They are good for delivery companies and in town running around. Parts are scarce and they would not last on long trips.

    Hightops that aren't fiberglass

Actually why not buy two vans of the same year, get a nice one and a junker. You cut the roof of the nice one and add on what you need from the junker's roof. I Would brace it with ribs and mig weld everything back up, a little Bondo and you are set.

    Hightops that aren't fiberglass

I seen them youngster's, but they are super rare. They were the original high top vans They had the top of a 1964-1967 Oldsmobile Vista cruiser station wagon welded on top. Seen them up to the mid 70's. You rarely see them out of custom van shows now. Here are some examples...

    My 1995 Ford E150

Great van. The 5.8 is very reliable. Check the 3 bolts that hold the steering gear rack to the frame for broken bolts. Also check for cracks in the frame where it mounts up. Consider replacing the bolts even if everything checks out okay. That is one of the issues that is rarely reported on...

    Found a 97 Ford E150...

Take the deal. Jump on it. You said yourself the camper is questionable. You should be able to double your money reselling the van, without parting it out. Or you can replace the motor with a more reliable one.
