Anyone know where I could find an owner's manual.....

To start with, I would like the schematics for the electrical system - also, we know nothing about what we need to do to make sure the propane system and the water/tank systems are okay......basically, everything.

As promised, pictures of the Grand Voyager build.

For now I have the "magic screen" that opens and closes with magnets to go over the sliding door but before I actually get to live in my van, I will have a roof top vent.

As promised, pictures of the Grand Voyager build.

John, I am quite fine with only using my outside mirrors for driving - no different than driving a box truck and I have plenty of experience with that.

As promised, pictures of the Grand Voyager build.

The table legs fold down and the table sits just inside the tailgate. The hatch door also works as covering in the shade to help keep me cooler as I now have Reflectix on the window.

As promised, pictures of the Grand Voyager build.

The big long box is the bed - the lid lifts up and it has a bunch of storage inside - cushion is out being covered. The table is removable and fits in front of the spare (wrapped in brown paper until I can get my cover sewn for it - the table is just the right height for me to sit at and work or...

Back and finally got started on van build

Thank you Mike. It is going to be a slow process for me now and I am not going to make it to the RTR get together in January but, it will give me that opportunity to boondock in the NE and really build up my funds for 2017. Anyway, back wall and real windows got done today as well as the lumber...

Back and finally got started on van build

50 views and no answer later, I got my answer when I unrolled my Reflectix - it is foiled on both sides so it doesn't matter which side goes against the glass - LOL :s - thank you all anyway ;) Barbara

Back and finally got started on van build

I have missed the forums the last couple of months but I had a major health set-back. With the grace of God, I am back to as near healthy as I can be right now. I finally started my build of the mini van - got the new floor cut out and laid in and the rear wall cut. Here is my problem/question...

    The importance of ventilation.

What about the screens that you can buy at WalMart in the "As Seen On T.V." section - I am having a lapse in memory at the moment and the name eludes me but, they are the ones that open and close easily and stay shut with magnets.

    women boondocking alone

I am 53 and although I haven't started my "van-dwelling" journey yet, as a younger version of me, one that was healthier, had a little more money at hand, and wasn't afraid of anyone/anything, I use to do camping by myself - usually along the bank of a river, not in a CG or other inhabited area...

    RTR 2016 info? anyone?

I tell you guys, my mother at 73 has more energy and gumption than I've ever had. Her life consists of helping my sister raise 5 of her grandchildren - ages 3-12, keeping house, doing all the laundry for a house of 6 kids and 4 adults - I am so happy and fortunate that she is wanting to do this...

    RTR 2016 info? anyone?

I am really stoked about making it out west for the event - let me tell you why.............I won't be coming alone - my very active 73 year old mother wants to come with me...You will all just fall in love with her - she doesn't act a day over 50 and loves interacting with "like-minded" people...

    I'm new

Welcome to both of you from NE Ohio. I am still not on the road but I am working on it. My plans are to stay in Ohio for the first year and save up my emergency funds - then, it will be off to the west. There truly are great people here and lots of things to learn from them. Good luck on...
