    A rather easy bed

Pretty easy to add more of those brackets to the middle if sagging.  Then maybe could even use thinner plywood to keep the weight and cost down...?... I used the example of someone here a while back to order a metal frame from amazon, then added some extra wood slats where the cheap ones were...

Looking at an E-250 Hightop, thoughts?

Hi, I'm just north of you and have been looking at these vans for around a year now.  Here are some specifics about this one. 1. Google the phone number and check the shop reviews, i found words like "careful, shady, drugs"... etc... 2. These hi-top passenger vans are usually driven year-round...

    shopping for induction cooktop

Hi, can someone tell me, what size inverter is needed to run a 1500w induction cooker like the one linked to previously? Or, is there a cooker smaller than 1500w?  If so, what is the minimum inverter size needed, to run an electric cooker that can boil water?  thanks for any help

    Van with wide footwell?

Thanks for the tip on the step van.  Although my dog gets car sick, so any noise/vibration would be an issue.  Will see. Meanwhile if anyone knows of a van older than the 90s, or from the new century, with a wide footwell i'd appreciate any input.  I believe i've exhausted the 90's models near...

    Van with wide footwell?

Hi, I have a bad left leg and low back, need to stretch out my legs wide, and feet flat, while driving, to manage pain.  I've checked vans from the 90s, ford, chev, dodge, all i've seen have narrow footwells or even a big bump in the floor where the driver's left foot rests.  Are there any vans...
