The pictures in that ad are of a Ford van. If it's a Ford extended van it should fit.

Fiberglass raised roof for Ford Extened Van, in Owensboro, KY, $500.00

I still have the roof, it's just a mosquito habitat right now. Make me an offer, I probably will take it. I would rather not take it to the dump.

Fiberglass raised roof for Ford Extened Van, in Owensboro, KY, $500.00

I have a fiberglass raised roof as seen on the van in the photos below. I believe it will fit any Extended Ford van from 1992-2014, It came from a 1997 year van. It's only the roof, not the van. I bought the van for the roof, got rid of the van, but I kept the roof, and decided to go another...

    Trailer roof maintenance

FYI, I talked to the dealer, they said that all you needed to do was wash the roof about every six months with RV roof cleaner. Now I just have to find the right RV roof cleaner. Most I have looked at said they were for EPDM.

    Trailer roof maintenance

Everything I find online is for cleaning EPDM rubber roofs, I haven't found anything yet for TPO roofs. TPO – Thermal Poly Olefin – was introduced to the RV and Marine Industries in 1994. It is resistant to algae, mold, fungus, and other biological agents. The chemistry of TPO allows for no...

T-Mobile sending me free signal booster

FYI, you can use the T-mobile booster on the Metro PCS network. And you can find the boosters used online for under $40.00 I have one and it works fine. I think the notification of where the booster is at is a FCC requirement in case of interference, not necessarily needed to make it work.

    Trailer roof maintenance

My new travel trailer has, I believe, a TPO roof, it's white and smooth. Does this type of roof require any periodic maintenance?

Camping in a TT in slightly below freezing weather?

My trailer has a fully enclosed bottom, so it looks like I will be OK from what you guys are saying.

Camping in a TT in slightly below freezing weather?

Do I need to worry about anything freezing if the temperature dips below freezing, like 30 degrees, while I am camping with the heat on in the camper. Are the tanks and lines generally insulated from the cold in a travel trailer?

    Good tires for towing

Jellyfish is exactly right. No matter how much air I put in the Michelins, even at the max pressure of 80 psi, you could push on the side of the van and watch the tires squish like a jellyfish.

    Good tires for towing

The Michelins were the same size and load range as my old tires, they had a very thick tread which I guess made them squirm a lot.

    Good tires for towing

I am looking for a new set of tires that will be good for towing. I had a E-350 van that had a set of Hankook tires on it, it always towed my trailer great, little or no "sway" from wind or when traffic passed me. You could feel a semi truck push you around a little when it passed, but it...

    New member

Hello, I am new to cheap RV living, but not to to van living. I had a Ford E-350 van that we camped out of for the last five years. I just sold the van and now use a travel trailer.

I used polyurethane adhesive with plastic mounts to hold my two 100W panels on the aluminum roof of my trailer several years ago, they are still firmly attached.
