    Got a new van!

Looks clean and well maintained. Your solar should fit on top nicely even with that dip on the back. Just install a cargo carrier like another member did on this site (Charlene, I think).

    Alone

Agreed! It has to be the right person, though.&nbsp;<div>I find that I choose to spend minutes of my life on people who really matter... not just the one true love, but many others. I parcel out my life to them as needed.&nbsp;</div><div>I am single, but not alone.</div>

    Where is everyone ??

Left my van in Texas with my brother's neighbor's car port (my bro starts up the engine and keeps an eye on it).<div>I am currently enjoying the hot humid weather of the Philippines (my country of origin). Feasting on banana sized shrimp, fried fish and simmered squid with ink sauce every week...

Former Tipi Dweller Gets Ready for Vandwelling

One of my favorite techniques for not needing ironing is that I hang my clothes up on a hanger right from the dryer as they are hot. I find that if they are hung that early and sandwiched between other clothes in the closet, they become less wrinkled --almost wrinkle free. The ones you fold...

    My journey has just begun.

It's funny you mentioned about feeling like a kid in your own treehouse again.<div>I can relate. We used to build tents in our rooms... and brought in snacks and food inside the tents. Then as we got older, we camped outside on the yard (then boyscouts later on). I felt the same way as you...

Things I can do now to transition easier

A good middle ground would be to take off part of the year but retain a small home somewhere cheap you can run to (something to keep her anchored safely). So that whatever happens... whether you spend majority of your time in the small home or the small RV, you have those options and they're not...

    Pictures of my e350

My van began as a 15 passenger model. As you can see with the pictures, it still had the large screws where the seatbelts attached. I used those to thread my curtain lines through as they almost go from front to back of the van.&nbsp;<div>Yeah, sometimes our plans don't match when we get our...

    newbie sayin hey to everybody

You come to the right place. Yep, like you, I always thought there'd be a lot of folks who like to live light and travel a lot.&nbsp;<div>Indeed, why waste years of good life gaining unnecessary things that just hold you down to one place?&nbsp;</div>

May trade up for a larger van in the future

I agree. My next van will definitely have some standing room. I wasn't able to utilize my space as efficiently as some here, but it did well for me while I stayed in it.&nbsp;<div>Good luck on your travels!</div><div><br></div><div><br></div>
