Sorry - I was skimming and obviously feeling impatient. My apologies for the unwarranted criticism. FYI - I don't get these either for the same reason as you. However, I also stated in my post that I know people who have so many of these bags they don't know what to do with them.

I'm not asking about getting the food delivery services. Frankly, I don't even subscribe to them. I'm asking what others think about using those kinds of insulated bags instead of Reflectix for making interior window coverings - the ones vanlifers make for insulation and stealth.

:D  These are insulated bags for meal prep services - like Blue Apron, Hello Fresh, and Dinnerly. They send all the ingredients in these bags to keep them cold during delivery. Then the recipient is left to dispose of an insulated bag - mostly going to landfills. It seemed like a good reuse...

I don't mean leaving the window open all the way. There's an option for just tilting the window about an inch up literally for air when you're driving rather than opening it all the way. I've accidentally left it open in my driveway with no critters getting in. Sort of like this...
