    Window coverings?

Sorry - I was skimming and obviously feeling impatient. My apologies for the unwarranted criticism. FYI - I don't get these either for the same reason as you. However, I also stated in my post that I know people who have so many of these bags they don't know what to do with them.

    Window coverings?

Frankly, right now, I'm getting bupkiss for answers. I'm not sure if I'm phrasing the question wrong or if no one knows what I'm referring to about the bags. I even included a photo of one of the bags. One person asked me about pizza smells, the other told me the food delivery services aren't...

Different option than Reflectix for window coverings?

I'm not asking about getting the food delivery services. Frankly, I don't even subscribe to them. I'm asking what others think about using those kinds of insulated bags instead of Reflectix for making interior window coverings - the ones vanlifers make for insulation and stealth.

Different option than Reflectix for window coverings?

:D  These are insulated bags for meal prep services - like Blue Apron, Hello Fresh, and Dinnerly. They send all the ingredients in these bags to keep them cold during delivery. Then the recipient is left to dispose of an insulated bag - mostly going to landfills. It seemed like a good reuse...

    Window coverings?

I didn't see anyone else posting about them so I posted the question under insulation. Thank you for the suggestion so I could find the right place.

    Window coverings?

I just posted the question here. https://vanlivingforum.com/showthread.php?tid=42993

Different option than Reflectix for window coverings?

This may be a weird suggestion but I thought I'd check with the experts here. Has anyone ever used those silver insulated bags that come with food delivery to make their car window coverings (instead of Reflectix)? I attached a picture of what I'm referring to. I have friends who get these...

    Window coverings?

This may be a weird question and I may be using the wrong forum. If so, apologies and please tell me where it should go instead. Keeping moonroof open for air overnight?

Getting really good feedback from everyone. Thanks so much! I've found a couple of things to think about for the windows instead of the moonroof. One's a little pricey with decent reviews. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XX3H5XL/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A22UAD6MINDFW&psc=1 The other...

Keeping moonroof open for air overnight?

Actually, my roof slides from the outside. Great tip about the no-see-ums.

Keeping moonroof open for air overnight?

I don't mean leaving the window open all the way. There's an option for just tilting the window about an inch up literally for air when you're driving rather than opening it all the way. I've accidentally left it open in my driveway with no critters getting in. Sort of like this...

Keeping moonroof open for air overnight?

I'm getting ready for a short roadtrip in my Nissa Hatchback - my first venture for trying out the life.  Thinking of using the partial opening option of the moon/sunroof for air during the night.  That way if it gets too cold or starts to rain, I can just adjust the interior sliding "door."...

Wanting to give it a try

I totally get this. My car is indeed a bit cramped - I just measured it and it'll be interesting to see how it works out.  The good thing is I'm short and tend to like sleeping curled up. Hopefully that'll come in handy. *g* I mentioned in another reply that Amazon sells a hatchback tent that...

Wanting to give it a try

Thanks for the info on where to find graduated van sizes. That's great to know! I also found something interesting on Amazon - a hatchback tent (new to me, likely not to others here) for just about $150. It would allow me some privacy along with more space while still using my current car.  I'd...
