People like that Ranger make me sick to my stomach. The majority of LEOs and park rangers are good people and do everything they can to help people, its these small percentages of A$$holes that give the rest of them a bad rap and cause people to not trust them.
Im very sorry this happened to...
crofter...thanks for the tip. I will have to budget for a back up generator, the RV Im looking at has one already on board and it has been serviced. But a small back up would probably be wise, especially if Im going to boondock as much as possible.
I know Im new to the whole concept of full time RVing, or even RVing period and Im still saving up the money for my first class C. But it has given me a lot of time to research and learn both from you all here and on a few other sites. Minimilistic lifestyle definetly appeals to me, I just...
Im handy with a carburetor. Its one of the reasons Im looking at this one. I can do the basic engine repairs and maintenance with standard tools. And yes the parts are most of the time available at any Oreilleys or other auto parts store.
I still think I am going to attempt the blogging and affiliated marketing, just not depend on any income from it. If I make a little cash by doing it great, if not its ok. At that point its just doing it for the learning and experience of doing it, which is high on my list of life importances.

Im with you there on the doing my own damn thing. Im anxious to get away from the rat race...just need to be able to support myself to do it. My measly Navy retirement don't go very far, but it is something.
I have no back ground in the computer coding field and it all seems greek to me. But...
Wow! And I thought I was going to be the only one, lol. I hope to meet up sometime down the road!!!
Hopefully before snow starts flying in central Illinois I will have my first used RV and will be going full time.
I plan on taking out the 2 recliner/swivel chairs in the sitting area and...
I am talking to a friends step dad about buying his 1984 Ford E350 Midas Freeport. Im still waiting on pics, but I have seen it in person a few months back and I remember it looked in good shape.
What I do know about it: All new tires beginning of summer (and no travel on them). New Water...
thanks Van-Tramp. I appreciate the honesty. I know its like anything else the more you put in the more you get out. I will give it a shot, but I agree with you that it won't eat up all my time for a small $100/month. Right now Im kinda in the brainstorming phase and trying to get my...
Thank you my friends for the insight and answers. I have started an online course on blogging and how to get started. I think its something Im going to try and start soon. Im not looking to get rich off of it by no means, just another added income to help
