Is a Honda Fit big enough to fit someone over 6' sleeping in back?  How are those really small cars in areas with high wind gusts like say highway 90 going though Montana?

I think pound for pound in terms of solid reliability, low total cost of ownership, nice hatchback and sleeping area, gas engine automatically kicking on to recharge battery, fuel efficiency, etc...the Prius is probably the best overall choice of a car to sleep in on long road trips/camping...

The car manufacturers need to get on cheaprvliving.com and see that a lot of their customers want flat level fold down back seats to sleep!!:)

What the best cars to sleep in without having to take out the back seat or build a platform?  Are their any hatchbacks or SUV's where the seats fold down mostly level?   I'm in the market for a new daily driver that I could also sleep in the back during extended road trips.  I would rather not...

Looking at pictures online the Prius back seats appears to fold down pretty flat without removing the back seat and without the need to build a platform. Does anyone sleep in the back of a Prius without taking out seats or building a platform? Any other hatchbacks anyone know of do this well...

For my current mid sized sedan car.  I do take out the seat cushion and the seats fold a bit flatter, but still sloped down towards pass through to trunk area.  I will have to figure out a better shim.  A right sized wedge shape piece of foam could work to level the feet area of mattress, but...
