I've seen these. They are pretty neat if you can get all the required permits to do it.

Never seen those before but they seems pretty cool.   I will have to look into that more.

One of the issues that we ran into was that in order to get a permit, the housing had to conform to the other housing in the area which was actually older double-wides for the most part. What we had in mind was a dome house. We didn't purchase the land. Always check with the city/county before purchasing land and don't go with that saying about doing it anyway and begging forgiveness as I saw that cost someone some very big bucks!
