I am in Southwestern Wisconsin on the Mississippi River. It is beautiful but cold. I to want to get rid of my snow shovel. Unfortunately I have to stick around for 4 more years and long for the road.

We're on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state camped at a DNR campground. Love these little campgrounds - $35.00 for an entire year of camping plus free day use and trailhead parking.
The sun is shinning -70s inland and 60s on the coast!

SC at my daughter's. We went to Chimney Rock State Park in NC last weekend, climbed up the 499 stairs to the rock. There's a LOT of UP there. Wasn't sure I could do it.

Hey GypsyJane. I was just there saturday. A million people but worth the hike. I just blasted through Balsam and on the way to Cherokee for some rafting. If your schedule allows you might like Big Bradley falls near Saluda. Its a good hike in without the climbing like Chimney. Enjoy.

I'm still in Sioux Falls, SD. I'm at work right now. I do have a state park pass so I can go to any of the state parks around here with no problem. I sleep during the day as I work overnights at a homeless shelter. I'm currently converting my 1988 Chevy Astro to make it easier to live in. I did pull out the back seats and sleep on a cot in the back, but I am building a more permanent bed. It's a work in progress right now.
