I’m building an indoor/outdoor kitchen in my 1994 E150/Mark III conversion. I want to utilize the rear-mount “box” hanging below the fiberglass hightop for my stockpot, skillet, plates, cutting boards, silverware, knives, and other kitchen equipment.

What sort of mechanism would allow one or two bins to drop down for outside access? I can cut open access on the inside but as far as the outside I don’t want to cut through the exterior fiberglass.

There is nothing you can purchase off the shelf that will quickly give you that functionality. But have space for slide out trays or boxes for silverware.

The "Box" contains the remaining 2' of the Van's original ROOF.............Steel ! That's there to keep the van structurally sound...........Don't be cutting that without reinforcing/welding
