Lmao. Funny stuff!

The mayor of Boston has told everyone to stop jumping out of windows into the snow banks! They're jumping from third and fourth floor windows for the thrill. Where I am there's all these pathways shoveled and it reminds me of a giant sized ant farm. It's been a long time since I've seen this much snow. Most days we're in the single digits when normal temps are low 40s by this time of year.

Well it's going to 21 tonight in NW Florida with a high tomorrow of 46. I'm not used to this. As I'm out in the country it'll probably go lower than that north of Bonifay where I am.

I've got outside faucets dripping, in fact I started them last night, but I'm wondering if I need to go check them and see if they're still going. I think I will.

Catch ya later.

Will Robinson - warning warning. Lol. Great handle with lostinspace.

This is we why I am not car tent camping this weekend warrior trip. Using AIRBNB for a not so cheap alternative. Not really too linked into the cheap RV living philosophy in this weather; but low temp sleeping bags don't seem too appealing right now.

We Floridians got a reprieve last night. Now, at 4:30AM it is only 35 degrees, not the 23 the weather-guessers said we'd have. They still guess 25 F. for tomorrow night. Glad it's not lower - I will soon be on the hunting lease, tracking the elusive Bambi!

6" more snow overnight last night, but temps were relatively balmy, in the high 20s.

Only one layer of arctic rated long underwear and sleeping bag not even zipped all the way up. Lower temps back down into single digits tonight, but I'm doing a house-sitting gig for friends through next Wednesday, then taking the rest of next week to drive my parents' car down to FL for them. Last year when I did this, I was in shorts, temps in the 70s, very much a relief from New England weather. Sounds cold down there right now, but I'll take any temps over freezing at this point...

Turned out we got 28 F. by daylight, and it was 38 F. by noon. Will not get out of the mid forties today.
Still getting 25 or so from the Weather Guessers for tomorrow. Danggit, the Yankees are shipping some frigid stuff down to us! :)

In Clinton Michigan it's -2, low tonight -16.  Just for a joke I went out without long underwear.  Bad mistake.  I guess some people like this kind of cold, I'm not one of them.

We are enjoying perfect 76 degree weather here in Maryland on post day for the Preakness. Plenty of crabs with Old Bay seasoning, black eyed susans, our state flower, and all the ladies are wearing hats. Just waiting for the "ponies" to load into the gate. I'm spending my day in the third largest county in the U.S. for raising and breeding horses. I wish you all were here!

My sister follows the horse races. She was a horse owner most of her life, finally giving it up. We are seeing 90+ temps down here already. High humidity as is normal in sunny Florida.

I'm not really into horses. I just thought with Maryland in the news today, maybe all of you would be thinking of my little corner of the world.

Outside 64% humidity. Inside 42%. In SC shore area. What a difference in comfort.
