Hello from the beautiful (and often wet) Pacific Northwest!

My name is Wil and I drive a van for the Gig Economy. I'm sorting out recent events [See Profile].

I live in Salem Oregon and would like to finally get back to socializing again. Cribbage/Gin Rummy/Backgammon/Farkle anyone?

Is/Are there anyone currently in my area?  I would like to hear how long it took for nomadic transition to happen (Going from "Stick n Bricks" to On The Move!)

Also, any suggestions for a person in their 60's for remote/gig work that works well from state to state?

Welcome to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

.Welcome! coolworks.com has lots of what I call "old man jobs" as well as others. I believe they even have an older worker section if you look

Welcome Dusty times. There are plenty Of us in your area. I’m not one of them. I’m thousands of miles away near the East Coast. But I can still welcome you and hope you find what you’re looking for here.

Hi Wil, welcome to the site. I got my van two years ago and still am in transition. Still trying to get the build done. I tried the "no build" method and it was difficult... and I've gone back and forth between living in the van and living in a s/b dwelling.  I live considerably south of you... just south of the Oregon/California border... currently in a loaned travel trailer at an RV park, but I haven't given up on vandwelling.
