Just an idea.....
I just found a free program (app) for Firefox called VideoDownloadHelper (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/).
It let's you download YouTube videos to a file folder on your computer (memory stick).
Whenever you're on a FREE wifi spot in town go to YouTube and type in it's search bar "free full movies".
Select which movie(s) you want and then use Videodownloadhelper to load them onto your laptop/thumbdrive.
You can pick the resolution you want. They download as MP4 files which are viewable on most computers and, I believe, cell phones.
If a bunch of folks did this with different movies ...then , whenever there are get-to-gethers it would be easy to swap/trade files with others to build up an OFFLINE source of movies. Hopefully lowering your data usage/fees.
Just an idea..................
KinA
P.S. Example : "ENCINO MAN" 88 minutes long, took about 90 seconds to load at med resolution and size was 294,868 KB (3G +/-)
