i realize there is no real competition between verison and boost. version has probably the best cell coverage in norcal sierras, where's i'll be (maybe AT&T is better but mot much) and boost is crap outside of say Sacramento BUT
verison is $45/month and boost is $2 a day i think, although i haven't really figured out if you can just pay for the days you need to use it.
anyhow, most of the time i only really want the phone to connect to wifi at coffee shops and such up in mountain towns like groveland and the GPS for backcountry navigator. i've seem some really nice prepaid phones for $30-50 for both boost and verison pre paid and wondering which way to go.
i'm leaning towards the boost phones to save money but i can see the advantage of version coverage for emergency use, but that's a lot of money to pay per month from something i might never needs.
anyhow, does anyone use boost and what are your thoughts?
thx
