Anyone see this show? It's a new show on The Travel Channel. It only has one episode out right now, but I can't wait to see more. It appears it is not geared to full timers, but it is still neat to see a show about van campers. The first episode was about a young couple that wanted a small weekend camper. They had three vans to choose from and ended up buying an old Westfalia. Then they had a budget to get it rebuilt. In the end it did turn out to be a cool little camper van. I like that. Much more realistic and apropos to us than the show on another channel where a couple are shown shopping for a huge high dollar RV. I get tired of complaints of "too small a master bedroom", "lacks an outdoor kitchen or widescreen TV", "shower too tight", "lacks washer/drier"........ sheesh. Few of us have a couple hundred grand just laying around.
Now that $13,000 budget is more realistic!
Everytime I see a nice VW Vanagon, I remember the VW camper a math teacher had at my high school in the early 70s.
