Hi,
I live in Los Angeles. I decided to move out of my room and into my van as a way to save money. I have been living out of my cargo van for over 6 months now and love it. It has provided me with a very convenient and enjoyable way of life. I know van dwellers to be numerous in L.A., but am wondering how many of you are single women? Although I am happy and feel safe in my van, I know I would not want my "daughter" to live such a life style. I am also curious as to how van dwellers manage to live in small towns and cold places.
For myself the secret to a happy van life has been, discretion, respect and cleanliness.

In the future I will gladly show how I have set my van up.

Welcome to the club! I just took a vacation in LA for a week last month. After a few days, I couldn't take the LA heat in my van anymore and had to retreat to cooler towns along the coastline.
