When I move into my small van full time, Uber Eats seems like it could be a neat little idea.  No passengers, can work any time you need some money and any location you happen to be in.  And I heard sometimes you get to keep the food if the person doesn't come out to pick it up.  Might look into it.

It would mean living near where there's a profitable enough base of potential customers — cities. Specifically cities with enough participating food suppliers, where fetching your own food is inconvenient because of traffic and such, or where there are people with enough disposable income they can afford to pay extra for delivery.

cool
if it works for ya then go for it :) if income is needed then this might suit ya well!

we are boonies type of people. where we are there is no door dash or uber easts LOL

I worked for DoorDash for about a year while stealth camping across the country. They can be very frustrating to work for but overall they're cool and are seamless when it comes to transferring you to another region.

Some people work for a few delivery companies at once to make up for the hours of downtime you'll inevitably experience.

It will certainly turn a low mile car into a high miles one :)
It will also significantly increase your insurance rates. If you get caught in an accident while driving for work and don't have coverage for that use you won't be covered.
