Van buying locations?

Vagabound, great thread as usual. When I needed to know similar questions about LA, bad neighborhoods, hotels ect. it was a like this thread, titled something else, not much response, when I titled it La, got more, not a ton and realized not too many know the specific cities, but very helpful.

I am finding there are places in the west where u could stay and rebuild without a hassle. Currently at free park in Arizona , five miles from small town where it seems u could stay for quite a long time. Not sure how far from phonix though, and will be too cold soon.

A camp host recently in California told me Yuma Arizona is a good place to buy because retirees that have maintained their vehicles go threre and sometimes the husband dies and wife needs to get rid of vehicle, this was the case in Florida when I bought my conversion van, I was surprised when he said it safe travels to u
