Hi everyone  :)
I'm new here...but not new to watching Bob's CheapRV Living. I learn SO much from the channel. Thank you Bob! I watched all the solor videos. I'm confused about the battery. I can understand the expensive Jackery battery. It makes sence. Solor panels to the bartery as the control panel is in the battery. Then the battery has the USB ports and two plugs right on the battery. It is VERY costly. Now, if I have it right, the other option is solor panels to a controller box to a battery. On the video it looked like a big heavy black battery.  BUT.. how do I power or charge my objects from the battery. I didn't see any USB ports or 110 plugs on it. If the answer is easy go easy on me. Ha Ha I'm thinking of a RV I had. The car charged the battery while driving. Then in the camper the electric things worked. I assume they were wired to the battery. My car won't have wiring. So how do I get the power in the battery to the objects I want to use and charge? Thanks everyone!

To avoid accidentally starting a fire a fuse would be a good idea.  Connect the fuse to the battery plus side then connect all of the loads to the fuse rather than directly to the battery.

With this item the picture shows a loop of wire.  It must be cut.  By providing it this way it is good for folks who need one long wire and one short wire as well as the folks who need two medium length wires.

$9      Cigarette lighter sockets
$24    120 volt inverter
$7      fuses
$20    crimp terminals
$7      crimp tool
$112  solar panel, charge controller, dual USB
$67    400 watt hour battery
$246  total with solar panel

You can leave off any parts you don't want.  If you don't need 120 volts, skip the inverter now, get it later.  If your over night use of electricity is low, very low, like one cell phone charge or a tiny fan, you can use the car battery and skip the wheelchair battery for now.  If you think you might want more solar you can upgrade to 100 watts for $149 instead of 80 watts for $112.  This way you have choices.  By the way, the solar panel can connect to your car battery in case you inadvertently run it down with dome lights or playing the radio.

The $250 Jackery brings all this stuff in one neat package

The $140 solar panel is extra, $390 total.
