Off topic, i understand that you run power to applicance and ground it to the chassis  which is connected back to the battery. But why doesnt chassis feel electrifying woth power flowing through it this way?

What about uhaul box trucks. Qhats stopping that electricity from suddenly presenting itself and electrifying the vehicle chassis or uhaul box portion?

might be better to post in the electric stuff sub forum

but a very simple answer is it is about electric potential. the electricity is trying or wanting to get from 1 side of the battery to the other following the path of least resistance. once the electricity get to the frame/ground it has a free ride back to the other side of the battery. it would be going out of its way and adding much more resistance to come out of the frame to shock you and then find its way back to the battery.

simplistic and kinda anthropomorphic, but that is about it. to understand deeper. star by look for some basic tutorials on the net for basic electricity and battery stuff. after reading or watching some of those things will be easier to understand

And don't start thinking about where to attach the ground post on an inverter.
