I did the same thing in my 5th wheel. What I did was disconnect all the units wiring at the wall and zip tie the remaining wire in the rig so it could be reversed in the future if needed. I haven't had a tv for 15 years. My life has definitely been improved by not having that nonsense in my world. There are so many things to do in this life, I can't imagine wasting my life watching rather than doing.
