Tribe: On Homecoming and Belonging.

Bob read it and recommended it, so I thought I'd give it a go.  I'm only about 100 pages into it and find it fascinating.  I was hoping others were/are reading it and wanted to chat about it.  Anyone?

I haven't read it but it looks good. I checked it out from the library just now.

Pro tip: if you have a library card and a kindle or nook you can likely check out eBooks free from your library. It all happens online (including automated return) which is a godsend for nomadic folk. Look for the Overdrive or Freading link on your library's website.

I read Tribe and the whole way through I was thinking, "Of course, that is exactly the way society is." The only part I disagree with is the author's treatment of veterans and PTSD, but that is a different discussion than nomads.

I keep nodding my head at so many of the conclusions.  We are isolated and separate, and we aren't supposed to be.  Really good read so far!
