Well I headed to Albuquerque, hung out for a few days but didn't come across any jobs while I was there. I did enjoy the mountains but I could tell it was going to get too hot to stick around as it was already flirting with the 90s the days I was there.

I moved on to Santa Fe.. It was awesome and wish I could have stayed but for my line of work there was absolutely nothing to be had. The altitude was great at 7000ft but I could find nothing at all in the warehouse or even manufacturing industries. After 3 days I had to hit the road because I'm really needing to refuel the bank account.

I now sit in Co with white top smokies in the distance, about 200 miles away from Denver. Denver will have to be the place as I see lots of work on CL and no where else in the region looks any better.

Ok I meant to say the Rockies.. However soon as I posted all the images on this site started screwing up and I couldn't and still can't find the edit links..

Is the forums broken for anyone else? It's like this on both my tablet and my laptop.

Well I made it to Denver after a layover in Colorado Springs. (CS was pretty nice and I got a free air show from the Thunder Birds while there)

However after following up a few job leads in CS I wasn't getting any replies so I moved on to Denver and being here one day I already have a new temp job. Just goes to show big cities are the key to doing temp work & traveling.

Also Denver from first impression seems like it will be easy to vandwell. I stayed at a Walmart last night off 88 and there were several RV & vans even some guy with a converted cargo trailer. However I've noticed a lot of street parking in residential neighborhoods and even lots of apartments that one could easily park over night at.

If you're feeling adventurous you're more than welcome to come out to the Peyton area for grilled food and such.

Yea that looks like it's all the way down by Co Springs.. I'm sure I'll get back down there but not sure when.

That's the only bad part about this job, is it's a split week schedule meaning I don't get 2 days off in a row but rather split days off, with lots of over time. Really stupid work schedule if you ask me, but the pay is really good for a temp job which means I'll save more up faster and be able to hit the road again.

Gotta pay the piper. We're out here for 2 weeks yet then we're off to the mountains. Unfortunately I am not very mobile yet and won't be until august or so.
