Big problem is most foods spoil above 50 degrees I believe so this wouldn't work well in temps above 70 degrees. I don't know if it would be worth it to have a can of pop at 90 degrees on a 110 degree day, maybe? Lots of people have used both 12 volt DC and modified 120 volt AC with an inverter small compressor refrigerators after having had units like these and ice chests it seems.

Well geez, that's a bummer!! Had no idea about the temps ;( Guess they are good for Air conditioned offices and that's about it, or maybe traveling with A/c inside your car ;)

That's false advertising. It's labeled as a fridge, but it doesn't work like a fridge. It's really just a cooler. I wouldn't use it for perishable food unless it's never warmer than 65 degrees.

True, EVERY label on anything should have this first, "Go and read do your research on this BS first before buying" right, lol!

I buy a few consumables online, like supplements, and I love chicory root, instead of coffee. The brand of roasted French Chicory Root wasn't available, or I guess it didn't ship for like 2 weeks and said heck with that. I looked at some others, and not one of about 3 in a good price-range for me, has one single Nutritional fact on there. Either false advertising, no label at all, or no nutritional facts for folks that want to know what's "hopefully" actually in the stuff ;)

Yeah that is NOT a refrigerator it's a peltier cooler. the best nes that NASA spends a million bucks on only cool 40° below ambient. With consumer grade ones you would be extremely lucky to get 30° below ambient. In other words if it's 90° the inside will only be 60°. Plus they suck power like a hog.

See this is why it's good to ask questions here you the perspective from people who have been there. I know I wasted money on one of those coolers.

The only dumb questions are the ones you don't ask! This is a great community. So much good information. Some information is found through others misfortunes like HDR buying a cooler. I've been there plenty of times. I like asking questions if I don't know. Chances are, someone has been there and knows better.
