I didnt get vin number or anything as I was surprised about it. Person I know a little was saying they felt bad dog and I are in truck. I said.we.are fine. Did ask if there was.anything major.said.no. I feel weird saying I want to take it to mechanic. Leaning toward forgetting about it. In general does anyone know about these?

I am thinking I would not go over 2,000.00/cash but that would only leave me 1,000.00/cash for emergency fund.

Aghhh! If anyone knows what I am doing wrong with pics not posting together please.let me.know!

This is what we are in now 2000 GMC sonoma, 70,000 miles went over with u all and mechanic needs breaks other than that good.

The van would be taking a chance. The only drawback with the truck is going from back to front and I could not pull out if needed. I will be going from Michigan to West coast and South  1 10 to Florida or Mexico making a loop each year. I will be in questionable areas out of necessity.

the van looks clean, but I would have it checked out, I notice a little seep on the bell housing. btw your brakes are the most important system on your vehicle. stopping is more important then going. good job TMG with the screen shots I have tried to explain it before but it's so much better with the screen shots. btw how do you do screen shots. highdesertranger

1) Press the "print screen" button on your keyboard (it may say just "print" or similar).

2) Open any picture editing program like MS Paint and press ctrl+v. Then save.

Doing the above copies/pastes the screenshot just like you would copy/paste text. Except you copy with the print screen button and you paste into a picture editing program.

If you have any newer Windows operating system then you have a program called Snipping Tool that makes it easier. If you're not sure, open your start menu and just start typing "snipping" to see if it comes up.... If you're still on XP it's not gonna be there.

There are other programs you can download to make screenshots save with one button push, but most people don't need those. I like ifranview when I want to do that.

thanks tried it I do have the snipping tool, thanks. now back to your regularly scheduled thread. highdesertranger

HDR...Some cell phones will do screen shots. On a computer keyboard it's the "PrSc" key in the top row. I do the shot and then open with Paint, edit, and save...then it's ready to use.
That's how I was taught but there may be other tricks I don't know.

The brakes did make a swoosh sound when I pushed on them before starting the van, was one thing I wondered about don't know if it has anything to do what u said. Thanks
