Yeah the nv200 isn't the greatest. I now live in a 2010 Connect and so far so good but I am not thrilled with the build quality. However, the size and taller roof seem to be okay so far.

That Jalopnik article has so much sarcasm that I don't even care to read it ; ).

The NV200 has a CVT transmission.  I will never buy a vehicle with a CVT.

Here's a review of the NV200.

Well, the good news is you can always swap the two front seats out for more comfy ones, the bad news is, there is not much you can do about the lack of power.
The extra space and fuel economy might help to ease that pain though.

Looks pretty narrow. With that long front end the cargo area has to be limited in length as well. I think I would opt for a Honda Odyssey or Chevy astro van.

I've been in the driver seat of mine for 12+ hours and don't find it at all uncomfortable. Cargo area is almost identical to the old Astros. Not as long, but taller inside due to the low floor.

I am a little worried about future costs with the CVT but the first 50k have been great.

Acceleration is slow and ground clearance is not great.
