Now that T-Mobile is offering Netflix and Pandora and not counting it against your data usage limit it's getting to be more of an interest to me. Does anyone have any experience with T-Mobile's coverage in the Prescott Valley, Flagstaff, Sedona, Ehrenburg and Quartzsite areas ?
Thanks.........KinA

My t-mobile experince is phone only, not internet. Coverage surprisingly good in eastern Imperial county, fine in Quartzsite, and somewhat spotty in Yuma. As far as I remember, it worked ok in cities and near freeways, and I didn't try much elsewhere in AZ.

I have T-Mobile on my smart phone. I'm currently in Quartzsite, and visited Yuma last night and earlier today. Voice works good in Q, spotty in Yuma as Blars has already said. T-Mobile data is pretty much non-existent in Quartzsite BLM land and very iffy in town. In downtown Yuma data was spotty, and absent outside of town.

I use a Verizon hotspot for my data needs.

For 2g and 3g, T-mobile and AT&T use one set of protocols, Sprint and Verizon another. LTE is the same for all, but not all devices can use all frequencies. Roaming agreements are area specific, so in some areas a t-mobile device will roam to AT&T towers, but in general it won't.
