I've never been there yet but have read that some of you stay in that area. My biggest expense is gas, so have been thinking of staying in the Southwest year around.
I do need to earn some money, probably doing construction. So I was thinking of getting a job there and trying to stealth park in town. Is that doable? Or would I have to stay out of town in the woods?
On a side note, I access CRVL on my phone thru Tapatalk and there doesn't seem to be a search feature. So I couldn't look up Flagstaff posts. Is search possible, am I overlooking something?

Iggy... I have camped in Flagstaff during the Summer for the last four Summers. It is a wonderful place to Camp amidst the Ponderosa Pines. Although there is a 14-day camping limit, but I have been able to camp in the same spot for many weeks without any issues. Here is the best part.... where I camp, I am 5 miles from the nearest Home Depot and Walmart. I can see no problem getting a job in the Flagstaff area and still be able to live in the forest. Flagstaff is a beautiful and friendly Little City. Many friends of mine spend the entire summer in the forest in the Flagstaff area. I don't think there is a more beautiful area in the country then the Southwest. A person could actually live and travel in the beautiful state of Arizona year round, as many do, Flagstaff during the summers and the southern desert during the winter. You could work down here in the southern desert too.

Iggy, for search in Tapatalk go to upper right where there are little horizontal lines - touch that and a menu will open and there is a magnifying glass to click for search
